The Occupational Rehabilitation Program provides WorkSafe BC clients with a multidisciplinary team approach focusing on maximizing function and tolerance before re-entering the workforce, after a period of inactivity. Job simulation, body mechanics, education seminars, biodex testing, aquatherapy, job site visits and gradual-return-to-work planning are all included within the program. This position also involves some work in the Acute Care areas of KGH, covering acute orthopedics, surgery, ED, stroke, etc. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, with the occasional weekend work required. Local travel within the Central Okanagan is a requirement and a vehicle is required for the position.
