Its business focus is on acquisition & upgrading of residential properties and managing its own portfolio of over 18,000 residential apartments in five provinces across Canada.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesGeneral lawn care including planting, hedging, pruning, weeding, mowing, trimming, fertilizing, wateringSpring and fall clean-upSnow removal, clear snow away from the steps, sidewalks, parking lots and entrances of the buildingsSpread salt on ice, ensure outside areas are not hazardous or slipperyRemoving furniture and left items from the suites when requiredPaint parking lot linesGarbage pick-up and removal from sites and vacant suites indoor and outdoorClean up all gravels from parking lotMake sure all machines and equipment are well maintainedClean up storage rooms when requiredOther related duties as assigned by managerQualifications and RequirementsExperience in landscaping / ground maintenancePossess valid AB Class 5 driver licenseAble to operate landscaping equipment (such as skid steers, wheel loaders, boom lifts, excavators, forklifts, telehandlers, and box trucks)Able to work outside in all weatherAble to lift a minimum of 50 lbsAble to use various tools- snow blowers, landscaping equipmentMust successfully complete a security clearanceMust be able to communicate effectively and be able to follow directionMust be able to work on own and have good time management skills
