Minimum 2 years of applied experience in real-world structural engineering including working on performance-based design from a wind and/or seismic perspective. Well-versed in structural modeling (SAP, ETABS, etc.) and its pitfalls. Ability to quickly interpret structural models and drawings.Familiarity with supplemental damping systems such as tuned mass dampers, water-based dampers and distributing damping is an asset.Proven ability to simultaneously handle and prioritize several projects.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Possess a valid driver’s license and passport and be able to travel internationally without restrictions.Existing, or eligible for, registration with the Professional Engineers – Ontario (P.Eng.). Professional Engineering status in other jurisdictions is a bonus.
