What You’ll Do Provide attentive, non-medical care according to each client’s Plan of Care Offer companionship through conversation, reading, activities, and social engagement Support emotional well-being and mental alertness Perform light housekeeping (vacuuming, dusting, laundry, cleaning bathrooms, etc.) Prepare meals Observe and report changes in a client’s physical, emotional, or mental condition Maintain clear, professional communication with clients, and team members Complete required documentation accurately and on time Participate in training, staff meetings, and ongoing education Maintain strict confidentiality and use equipment safely Perform other related duties as assigned   What We’re Looking For High school diploma (minimum requirement) Valid CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to maintain) Vulnerable Sector Police Records Check (renewed annually) Ability to pass all required background checks, including criminal, driving (if applicable), and reference checks Willingness to participate in random drug and alcohol testing Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license with insurance is always a bonus Dependable, punctual, and committed to client care Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions A genuine passion for helping others, with high standards of honesty and integrity All successful candidates must complete the Comfort Keepers training and orientation program. Physical & Working Environment Regular physical activity including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and light lifting (up to 12 kg / 25 lbs) Manual dexterity and strength in both hands required Possible exposure to bloodborne pathogens or infectious diseases  Why Join Comfort Keepers?
