What will you work on?
The Early Childhood Development (ECD) S-LP works with children aged birth-to-school entry from a variety of cultural backgrounds and their parents/caregivers. The ECD S-LP will engage in screening, assessment, intervention, coaching, and education in all areas of speech, language, and communication with this population. The ECD S-LP will collaborate with other professionals from the Ministry of Children & Family Development (MCFD), Ministry of Education (MoE), as well as local community organizations.
We are looking for an ECD S-LP with experience/preference working with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers and their caregivers. The ECD S-LP will have excellent oral and written communication abilities and be able to connect with people from all types of backgrounds. The ECD S-LP will be creative in supporting clients' goals while adhering to program guidelines. The ECD S-LP will be an active and engaged team member, able to respectfully communicate and resolve conflict in a timely manner.
