Senior Consultant – GenAI Backend DevOps

Our client in the consulting space is seeking a Senior Consultant – GenAI Backend DevOps to design, build, and support backend platforms for Generative AI solutions. This role blends backend engineering with DevOps practices to enable scalable, secure, and reliable AI systems.Roles and ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain backend systems supporting Generative AI applications, with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.Build, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for AI platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot Studio) to enable efficient and reliable deployments.Collaborate with frontend, data, and platform teams to integrate backend services and streamline end-to-end development workflows.Monitor system performance, diagnose issues, and ensure high availability of backend infrastructure and AI services.Implement infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform and Azure Resource Manager.Manage and optimize cloud environments across Azure and AWS to meet evolving business requirements.Apply and enforce security best practices, governance, and compliance standards across backend and DevOps processes.Automate operational tasks and improve development and deployment processes to reduce manual effort.Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering standards, tools, and best practices.Strong backend development experience using Python, Java, or Node.js.Experience working with SQL, NoSQL, and data warehousing technologies.Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).Strong experience with cloud platforms (Azure and AWS).Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Azure Resource Manager).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and collaboration skills.Duration: 5-month contract with the possibility of extensionWork Model: Hybrid (1 day onsite)
