Position Details:Position: Full-Time (Temp) Traffic GuardSite: Toronto Pearson AirportAveraging Agreement: Overtime is Employment Standards Act (ESA)Hours:  Rotating Continental (0700 - 1500 / 1500 - 2300) Payrate: $19.30/hr.Key Responsibilities:Provide vehicular and pedestrian traffic direction and control on the groundside area of the Airport by facilitating the movement of vehicular trafficMust be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.Direct or control movement of vehicles at specific locationsComfortable working independently and working outside in all weather conditionsDirect commercial and public vehicles along their respective traffic lanesEnsure the safe, orderly and efficient movement of vehicles and pedestrians on the Airport's terminal curbs and roadway surfacesInstitute regular patrols at various times each day in these areas and others, direct both vehicle and pedestrian traffic, and provide the public with relevant information concerning vehicle parking, stopping, and the loading and unloading of vehicles in a courteous and consistent mannerEnsure the separation of vehicles and pedestrians by controlling crosswalks, lane separations, areas designated by the GTAA from time to timeEnforce the "Traffic on Land Side of Airports Regulations", as may be amended, supplemented or replaced from time to time (collectively the 'TLSARs")Issue the Parking Infraction Notices (PINs) in accordance with established training procedures.
