Shift Supervisor

Our client is currently seeking an experienced Shift Supervisor to complement their dynamic and hard-working team. The Shift Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily production activities to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality operations. This role leads a team of operators and technicians, coordinates workflow, resolves issues in real time and maintains compliance with safety and operational standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment. This is an attractive pay of $29.00/hr.Responsibilities:Direct and monitor production activities during assigned shift to meet output, quality, and safety targets. Allocate labor and resources based on production priorities.Ensure equipment is operated according to established procedures.Troubleshoot operational issues and escalate when necessary.Provide daily direction, coaching and support to technicians.Train new employees on processes, equipment and safety protocols.Maintain accurate records, production reports and incident documentation.Communicate all necessary information to affected departments.Requirements:3-5 years experience in a similar role.Familiarity with safety procedures and the use of PPE in an industrial setting.Computation of basic math skills.Strong leadership skills with excellent communication.Working Conditions:Exposure to dust and loud noise (hearing protection provided).Ability to lift, carry, and move pallets and materials weighing up to 85 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift.Able to stand for long periods while completing repair tasks and transporting pallets.Regular use of power tools including repetitive operation of nail guns, hammers and saws.Requires strong visual attention to identify pallet defects and perform precise repair work.Must have steel toed footwear in good repair.Our client offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package with opportunities for growth and advancement.
