Job Details Description Purpose The Senior Product Manager, RMS reports to the Director, IT Product Management.  Our company is a leader in providing compelling and unique rail journeys, is looking to innovate within the rail tourism industry by delivering cutting-edge solutions that transform our guest and partner experience. We’re seeking a highly innovative and collaborative Senior IT Product Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in the product operating model, with a proven track record of leading product teams to deliver exceptional product experiences.  The Senior Product Manager will be dedicated to the suite of technology products that power the heart of our business, our Reservation Management System (RMS). The RMS is at the center of what drives our guest and team member experiences. Pursuit of our 2030 strategic goals requires that these technology products both evolve and develop a multitude of net new capabilities in the years to come. Key Areas of Accountability  • Strategic Leadership: Contribute to developing the product vision and strategy aligned with company goals and market opportunities. Collaborate with senior leaders to set quarterly objectives and problems to solve, guiding the product team to achieve them • Guest Focus: Engage regularly with guests, championing their voice and ensuring their needs and feedback are central to product development decisions • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong internal partnerships with engineering, design, marketing, sales, finance, and operations teams and foster external relationships with business partners and customers. Work with technical architect and engineering team to ensure technical feasibility and optimal solution design • Market & Data Analysis: Conduct thorough internal and external research to identify trends, opportunities, and threats, using data to inform and drive product strategy • Product Development: Lead the product lifecycle from ideation to value realization by ensuring the delivery of timely insights, prototypes, tests, and solutions • Risk and Compliance: Ensure products comply with relevant standards, security protocols and regulatory requirements • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor objectives and key results (OKRs) to measure product success and inform future strategies, consistently communicating results back to senior leaders and cross-functional partners • Innovation: Drive a culture of innovation, encouraging creative solutions and continuous improvement across product teams Qualifications Education/ Certification/ Licenses • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred Experience • Minimum of 8 years in product management or related roles (ex. engineering, design, delivery, product marketing) • Proficient in the product operating model, agile methodologies, and product development lifecycle Skills • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and drive results Work Environment • Corporate Office – Vancouver based; hybrid role with a minimum 3 days / week in the office Compensation • The base salary offered for this role is $125,000 to $140,000 per annum and can vary based on job-related expertise, qualifications, experience and internal equity. • Eligible for Armstrong Collective’s discretionary bonus program Eligible Benefits  Armstrong Collective supports our team members’ health and wellness by providing a comprehensive medical plan with 100% employer paid premiums, some of which includes:  Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance  Short term disability, long term disability benefits Travel emergency assistance  Vacation time and sick time Up to 5% RRSP and/or TSFA match  Two complimentary annual train tickets after first year of employment Armstrong Collective, Rocky Mountaineer and Canyon Spirit are an equal opportunity employer, driven by our values of creating meaningful moments, being one team, and achieving extraordinary outcomes.
