Reporting to the Director of IT, the ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with managing cloud productivity and security tools (Google, Microsoft) RMM and device management tools, day-to-day desktop and end-user support, and a strong familiarity with IT end user and infrastructure support including LAN/WAN switching, cloud infrastructure, SaaS tools and cybersecurity best practices. In this highly dynamic position, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow in your career and within the organization.This role involves providing technical support, managing IT infrastructure, and ensuring the security and reliability of systems for our clients or internal teams.This role will be onsite 4-days per week in the Markham office. Evening and weekend work may be required for project-based work and business critical issues. Some travel may be required to GTA-based telMAX offices.Responsibilities & Key Duties include:Provide first line and second-line IT support to end users, ensuring prompt resolution of technical issues.Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 tenant, Google including cloud environments and SaaS platforms. This includes user accounts, permissions, email configurations, and collaboration tools such as MS Teams and SharePoint permissions.Utilize RMM and device management tools for remote monitoring and management, including deploying patches, tracking assets, and responding to alerts.Implement and uphold IT security best practices, including monitoring for potential vulnerabilities and responding to threats.Configure, troubleshoot, and support hardware and software, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.Create and maintain technical documentation, including knowledge base articles and user guides.Collaborate with IT team members and other departments to ensure seamless technology operations.Assist with IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new technology deployments.Educate end users on best practices for security and IT systems usage.Advise on relevant new technologies and methodologies to enhance operational efficiency and performance.Education:Diploma in Computer System Support or Information Systems or equivalent or 5+ years in relevant work experience.Experience:Proven experience in IT support or a similar role.Proficiency with Microsoft 365 administration (e.G., Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).Proficiency with Google Workspace administrationExperience with RMM, device management, and other remote monitoring and management tools.Strong understanding of IT security principles, including firewalls, antivirus software, and data encryption.Familiarity with networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, and VPNs.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.Qualifications:Candidates with relevant Microsoft and Google Certifications strongly preferred.CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+ or similar Certifications are desirable.Experience with scripting or automation tools (e.G., PowerShell).Familiarity with backup solutions and disaster recovery planning.Why you Should Join telMAX Inc.We are a dynamic organization that is growing and you don't want to miss out on the fun.We offer a competitive compensation packageFlexible working environment, yes you can work from home or the office… what works for you?Benefits (Medical, Dental, and Vision)Health Spending Account (HSA)RRSP matching programBonusesAnd so much more…Apply now to be part of our exciting journeyEquity StatementtelMAX Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
