Position Description: Respiratory Therapists provide professional comprehensive sleep consultations with patients; This includes educating our patients on sleep as well as supporting the use of therapeutic treatment (CPAP/APAP and BiPAP devices) for various sleep disorders. This role involves a high level of patient interaction and support. Respiratory Therapists follow up with patients on a long-term basis to ensure sleep standards and compliance are maintained.   Respiratory Therapists respect the professional code of conduct while maintaining Canadian guidelines, ensuring reports, communications, and proper documentation are met. This role is either part-time (15 hours per week) or full-time (up to 40 hours per week). Position Qualifications: Registered Respiratory Therapist / Respiratory Therapist A positive and supportive, patient/customer service approach (our patients deserve the best). A professional and mature demeanor, with strong communication skills. Very strong organizational and multi-tasking skills. A high aptitude for learning. Experience with sleep and/or CPAP is an asset. Training will be provided. Experience using an EMR system is an asset. Bilingualism is an asset.
