We invite applications for a full-time Pediatrician in Port Alberni providing care for local pediatric patients and to residents of First Nations communities in Ucluelet, Nitinat, Ahousaht and Opitsaht. The West Coast General Hospital in Port Alberni is a modern, well equipped 75 bed community hospital with 56 acute (3 ICU) and 32 multilevel beds and 24-hour emergency room services. Port Alberni has an average births per year and the hospital provides a wide array of services to a regional population of 32,. Our congenial medical community enjoys a full complement of Family Physicians along with specialist colleagues in anesthesiology, general surgery, obstetrics/ gynecology, urology, internal medicine, psychiatry and radiology. Benefits May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including: Recruitment Incentive - $10, Fee Premium - 7.98%; Annual Flat Fee - $12,.72 Rural CME starting at $/annum in year 3&4 in community, increasing to a maximum of $/annum after 4 years.
