Job Description The successful candidate(s) will join our team to provide comprehensive anesthesiology services to the patients of southwest Saskatchewan at Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital. The scope of practice includes inpatient and outpatient care, emergency consults and specialist on-call coverage. We provide full obstetrical services, as well as general surgery, gynecology, urology, orthopedics and ophthalmology. Relocation Package The successful applicant may apply for the Specialist Recruitment Incentive offered through the Saskatchewan Medical Association, which provides $30,000.00 to an eligible specialist that establishes a practice for a minimum of thirty-six months in a Saskatchewan community. This opportunity may be eligible to receive the of up to $200,000 The Saskatchewan Health Authority offers a $25,000 Relocation incentive for anesthesiologists, which can be applied toward moving expenses, housing or vehicle rental, transportation costs, and other relocation costs. This incentive requires a three year return of service commitment. Job Qualifications The successful candidate will be a Fellow (or be eligible for Fellowship) with the in Anesthesiology. Candidates should be eligible for licensure with the . Preference will be given to University of Saskatchewan graduates and individuals with strong ties to Saskatchewan. This individual should be a team player, be able to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, staff and management, and function well in a high volume environment with a commitment to provision of high quality patient and family-centered care.
