DUTIES .An ability to teach 7 of the following courses annually (640 hours of instruction): WTTP 1730, Mechanical Systems & Wastewater Distribution WTTP 1800, Applied Electrical WTTP 1820, 2820, Instrumentation 1 & II WTTP 1850, Water Treatment II WTTP 1830, Mechanical Systems II & Energy Management WTTP 2710, Water Chemistry WTTP 2830, Management & Leadership Skills WTTP 2800, Microbiology and Toxicology WTTP 2730, Filtration WTTP 1860, 2760, Wastewater Utility 1 & II WTTP 2740, Disinfection WTTP 2720, Advanced Coagulation & Particle Removal WTTP 2860, Industrial Wastewater Pollution & Treatment WTTP 2840 Source Water Protection & Management QUALIFICATIONS Preference will be given to applicants with advanced education or exemplary experience in Water and Wastewater Treatment operation, public health and protection of the environment. Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree (Science, Technology, Engineering) or equivalent in a closely related discipline The ability to develop and teach undergraduate courses (theory and laboratory practice) An understanding of, and experience in, the Canadian water and wastewater systems, operations and legislation. A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. A commitment to honouring Truth, Reconciliation and Rights in PSE Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required. Proficiency in MS Office and learning management systems. Assets: Masters Degree (Science, Technology, Engineering) or equivalent in a closely related discipline Prior post-secondary education (PSE) -level teaching experience in related discipline Experience in curriculum development Work experience and connections to Industry. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse and multi-disciplinary teams. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Attention to detail and commitment to efficiency and effectiveness.
