This includes course preparation, teaching and guiding students, providing feedback, correction, encouragement, and direction in the following courses: Winter Semester (January – April 2026):ANTH 112: First Nations of BC (1 section)ANTH 205: Archaeology of Northern BC (1 section)CRIM 213: Women and Crime (1 section) *FNST 210: Aboriginal Health: Community Wellness & Healing (1 section)NOTE: Candidates must identify which course(s) they are interested in teaching. Qualifications A minimum of both a master’s degree and a bachelor’s degree in a related discipline along with teaching experience at the post-secondary level. Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate experience with experiential teaching formats. * To teach CRIM 213, the successful candidate must have a minimum of an LLB or JD from a recognized Canadian University. A Certificate of Qualification from the National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) may be considered.Required attributes/experience includes:Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based teaching with the ability to inspire and motivate learnersKnowledge and enthusiasm for contemporary practices to promote and respect equity, diversity, and inclusion in teaching, learning and professional contexts Demonstrated excellence with intercultural competence, particularly in regards to local Indigenous communitiesExcellent interpersonal, communication and facilitation skillsStrong organizational and problem-solving skills
