Overview Fountain Tire Surrey (Port Kells), an established automotive repair shop, is looking for a responsible, safe, and dedicated associate to join our team as an Automotive Tire TechnicianWhat do we offer?Competitive wages $18 - $20 per hourHealth, dental, and vision benefit programs for you and your family, including a RRSP program with company matchingWe will develop your skills and certifications with our excellent training & opportunities for advancementThe opportunity to work with an excellent team and great customers in a clean, safe, and respectful environmentRegular full time day shifts, with opportunities for overtime during our busy seasons (spring and fall)Discounts for you and your family on tires, parts, and services at all Fountain Tire locationsThe opportunity for growth into apprenticeships and leadership positionsYou will be responsible for:Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger and light truck tires and wheelsResetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)Maintaining tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basisCompleting specialty tire work which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory countsThe responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safeWhat does it take to get on track?We are looking for someone with 1 to 2 years of previous experience in the tire/automotive industryA working knowledge of passenger and light truck tires, specialty tire services and wheels is an assetA customer-service focus with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customersA keen attention to detailAbility to maintain a valid class 5 driver’s license and provide a satisfactory Driver’s AbstractBasic computer skillsAbility to consistently lift 25 kilogramsAt Fountain Tire, you’d have a great place to work Market leading wages, a manager with a large support network, and the chance to learn and grow.
