This position provides hands-on experience with GIS software, field data collection, and asset management systems. Key Responsibilities: Undertakes system administrator responsibility for all GIS related software and hardware (i.e., creating features attributes, domain tables, database administration, and permissions).Assists in database management in all GIS related databases; Oracle, Access, and SQL Server.Coordinate and process GPS data and general field data collection and perform field checks on utility assets to ensure accuracy of GIS systems.Updating utility asset databases and GIS tables.Updating Drawing Index, digitizing polygons, and adding work orders to the GIS environmentCreating ad-hoc specialized maps to support different initiatives and departmentsInvolvement in special projects, including but not limited to asset inspection, migration and data conversion, database editingOther duties as assigned.What You Will Bring Enrollment in a Geographical Information System Certificate program or Engineering/Electrical Technician co-op program at a post-secondary institution. Eligibility for a co-op term through your institution.Proficiency with AutoCAD MAP 3D, ESRI, Excel, and other Microsoft Office products.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Strong attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Team-oriented with a positive, proactive attitude.           GrandBridge Corporation39 Glebe Street, P.
