Reporting to the Parts Manager, our Warehouse Technician pick, ship, receive, and maintain inventory , warehouse and yard to provide accurate and timely service to internal and external customers. This position is based in Fort Frances , ON. 

The shift rotation for this position is 5x2.

The hourly rate for this position is  $36.61 per hour. Additional premiums may be applicable. 

Responsibilities included, but not limited to:

Responsible for the receiving, and shipping of all parts, part cores, and any service related shipping functions. Load and unload, unpack, inspect, moves, store and record the movements and storage locations of materials within the warehouse and as necessary inputs information into various data bases.  Issue or transfer materials to customer department personnel or other warehouse locations. Maintain an updated listing for our current inventory, ensuring that bin locations are accurate. Determine appropriate transportation for shipping of goods, prepare bills of lading and ensure proper packaging of goods. Perform cycle count functions, investigates and reconciles discrepancies. Participate in annual inventory counts.  Assist the parts counter personnel with the processing of any orders as required. Maintain the parts department areas in good order; ensure that all areas are kept clean. Forklift operation and maintenance. 

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years related warehousing experience. Additional requirements include:

Have a strong awareness and attitude towards workplace health and safety Current forklift certification.  WHMIS, Fall Arrest, Fire Extinguisher, TDG, First Aid, and Hoisting and Rigging training is an asset. Strong customer service skills Working knowledge of computers Valid Class 5/G drivers license
