We put you first: Salary range for Maintenance Electrician $44.45/hr + overnight shift premium of $.75/hrSchedule 12hr continental shiftProfit sharing planTelemedicine, Group insurance and pension plan with company contributionsEmployee assistance program (because we care about the physical and mental health of our people)Annual flexible reimbursement program Develop your talents by applying your expertise within our facility in Mississauga, as the Maintenance Electrician : Troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain and repair industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devicesAssist in the inspection, testing, adjusting and evaluation of new systems and ensure they conform to company and industry standardsExecute preventative maintenance activities including troubleshooting and repairs to all production equipment and systems in a timely mannerUtilize the computerized maintenance management system for processing work orders, PM’s and updating the equipment databasesProvide technical support for Production and MaintenanceSupport divisional and corporate objectives including health & safety, productivity, continuous improvement, innovation, quality, waste and 5SThere's nobody quite like you Respect your true nature by putting forward your strengths: Valid 309A and/or 442ACompleted certificate of ApprenticeshipPost-secondary education in an electrical, or electronics program also considered an asset.Familiarity with the current edition of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code or Canadian Electrical Code is required.Able to effectively use standard electrical test equipment including multi meters, clamp meters, insulation testers (megohmmeter), motor circuit analysis (MCA), oscilloscope, etc.Experience with electrical distribution specifically low and medium voltage systems (120V / 575V / 2.4 KV / 13.8 KV).Experience with Motor Control Centres (MCC) - NEMA and IEC starters.Experience with testing, maintenance, and connection of various sized AC (single / 3 phase) and DC Motors.Experience with building lighting maintenance and standard building electrical infrastructure.
