This position will drive adherence to established controls and processes to successfully complete material transactions and ensure the accuracy of the inventory both from a quantity and location perspective. This position will reside at our Toronto Service Center, located in Brampton, ON, reporting up to the Regional Operations Manager.Key AccountabilitiesOversight for all operations activities within the warehouseEffectively manages the performance of Team Leads & Warehouse Associates. Builds team chemistry and develops associates for future roles within the business.Accountability for meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) such safety, OTD%, Past Due backlog, inventory accuracy, productivity.Leads inventory control activities including transactions, material movement and staging, cycle counting, and overall material accuracy.Responsible for managing daily, weekly, monthly metrics and executing on counter measures.Collaborates with Regional Operations Manager & Regional Inventory Control Manager to ensure that inventory is accurate and fill rates are meeting expectations.Promotes continuous improvement culture and coordinate Lean Manufacturing (Kaizen) initiatives to increase overall manufacturing efficienciesWorks with the management team to improve employee engagement by initiating and/or facilitating team building events that also support our community such as Relay for life, food drives, fund raising walks, Habitat for Humanity, etc.Qualifications/RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Operations Management or related field (preferred)5+ years’ experience managing in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehousing environment with assignments in lean manufacturing/continuous improvement tools and processesPrevious Inventory Control and Quality Assurance Management experienceExperience with implementing and maintaining material pull systems a plusExperience with Sit down forklift, Raymond Reach, Counterbalance, etc.Experience with WMS/TMS and Payroll systemsExcellent communication and people skillsStrong commitment to employee development and engagementExperience with d365 system performing complex transactions a plusGood writing/administrative skills, including computer skills (word processing, graphics, spreadsheet, Minitab, etc.).Demonstrated proficiency in time and project management.Team oriented with the ability to influence others.Collaborative work with cross functional teams/departmentsAbility to support aft shift and at times weekend shift.Ability to make data driven decisions and analyze trendsAbility to administer accountability for team members.Competitive SalaryMedical, Dental, Vision, LTD, AD&D, and Life InsuranceCompetitive vacation policy12 Paid HolidaysAnnual Bonus EligibilityEducational ReimbursementDCPP with eligible matchingEmployee Stock Purchase Plan – purchase company stock at a discount**THIRD PARTY AGENCY: Any unsolicited submissions received from recruitment agencies will be considered property of Zurn Elkay, and we will not be liable for any fees or obligations related to those submissions.**Zurn Elkay is an equal opportunity employer who provides an inclusive and diverse work environment.
