Experience dealing with carrier negotiations?We are looking for a talented individual to support the daily operations of moving freight from point A to point B, with the ability to save in costs and ensure timelines are being met.Apply now: melissa.cumetti@randstad.ca / patrick.pepin@andstad.caAdvantages- Permanent Monday to Friday, day shift- Full compensation insurance package including RSP- This is 100% in person, located in Montreal-Est- 3 weeks vacation- Internal growth opportunitiesResponsibilities- Coordinate local and interregional shipments according to operational priorities;- Communicate with carriers and plan deliveries in compliance with deadlines;- Carrier management, cost optimization, and performance monitoring (ETA, tracking, adherence to deadlines);- Track inventory movements and update management systems;- Manage transport documents (delivery notes, customs, etc.);- Resolve logistical problems and propose improvements to existing processes.Qualifications- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in logistics or transportation coordination (ideally in a manufacturing or distribution environment).- Basic knowledge of Canadian/American customs (cross-border shipments).- Proficiency in logistics tracking tools and ERP or TMS systems- Very good command of French and English, both oral and written.- Clear and constructive communication, both internally and externally.- Very good team spirit, collaborative with operations, procurement, and production teams.SummaryPassionate about Transport & Logistics?
