Description Position at FloForm Countertops Required immediately, our Local Regina Branch is seeking a Full Time INSTALLER/TEMPLATER for COUNTERTOPS to join the team With 16 branches and 5 manufacturing facilities located in the Pacific Northwest and Western Canada, FLOFORM Countertops manufactures, sells and installs over 20,000 premium surface countertops a year. Established in 1961, FLOFORM is proud to be one of the Best Managed Companies in North America. Position Summary:The Templater/Installer is responsible for creating digital files/templates to be used in creating custom countertops which involves programming CNC router and preparing CAD files both in the shop and on the job sites for fabrication of custom countertops in a range of materials. As well as installing Stone countertops while representing Floform in a professional manner on the job site.Desired Skills & Experience:Related secondary education with 2 years related experienceIntermediate mathematical & computer skills using Microsoft office products, AutoCAD and the ability to learn other software programsBasic understanding of plumbing an assetAbility to handle challenging situations with diplomacy and respectStrong organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracyBe highly motivated, hardworking, reliable, and possess an outgoing and friendly attitude while willing to work independently as well as part of a team.Must be able to work overtime as the jobs demandSome overnight travel requiredMust be able to handle heavy loads, bend, crouch, kneel and lift upwards of 200 lbs. assistedPossess clear driver’s license and criminal record checkDuties and Responsibilities:Creates accurate digital drawings of countertops and produces sink files as requiredTraveling to customers’ homes/business to create templates that will be used in the production of their countertopsAdvises customer of any modifications requiredResponding to general customer enquiries while on-siteMaintaining the company vehicle interior and exteriorCorrectly install Stone countertops on site, while maintaining a professional demeanorCleanly remove the existing countertop and plumbing if requiredRespond to customer inquiries and/or concerns while on the job siteContacts office to resolve any concerns that cannot be addressed on the job siteTroubleshoot technical problems related to the installation as they ariseWorks as closely to the schedule as possible and contacts customer if running behindMaintains Company vehicle interior and exterior to the Companies standardsFLOFORM is proud to offer the successful candidate:Competitive wagesMedical and DentalRRSP MatchingPaid Sick TimeFLOFORM Countertops offers a positive and fun working environment that rewards those who share in our mission: “.”
