Job DescriptionAnalyst Quality Automation Engineer (with AI Awareness)Role Overview The Quality Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications. In addition to strong QA automation skills, this role requires conceptual knowledge of AI technologies to effectively test AI-driven features and collaborate with AI teams.Key Responsibilities Design and implement automated test scripts using frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. Maintain and optimize automation frameworks for scalability and performance. Execute automated and manual tests to validate application functionality. Ensure regression coverage for new features and releases. Understand how AI-driven features (rec-ommendations, chatbots, personalization) impact testing strategies. Validate AI outputs for consistency, usability, and compliance with business rules. Conduct load and stress testing using tools like JMeter or Locust. Ensure application security through automated vulnerability checks.Work closely with developers, AI engineers, and product teams to clarify requirements. Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous integration and delivery (CICD).Required Skill Sets Technical SkillsStrong proficiency in test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright). Experience with programming languages (Java, Python, or JavaScript). Familiarity with CICD pipe-lines and tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions. Knowledge of API testing (Postman, REST Assured). Basic understanding of AI concepts (LLMs, recommendation systems, model outputs).AI Knowledge (Conceptual)Awareness of how AI-generated content affects test cases and validation. Understanding of bias, accuracy, and ethical considerations in AI outputs. Soft Skills Strong analyt-ical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Ability to work in cross-functional teams and adapt to emerging technologies.Preferred Qualifications bach-elor’s degree in computer science, QA, or related field.35 years of experience in QA automation.
