Mechanical Integrity Engineer

What you will do Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  Maintaining the reliability and operability of fixed equipment assets (piping, valves, towers, tanks, furnaces, cooling towers, infrastructure, etc.), designing new/repairing existing pressure containing systems to meet code/jurisdictional requirements, analysis of existing systems to determine fitness for service and remaining life, develop detailed execution plans for new/replacement components & provide field support during the execution phase, quantify equipment risks to assist the business team in performing risk-based maintenance prioritization, and making recommendations for equipment/business improvement About you Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctorate Degree in mechanical engineering Demonstrated leadership and strong academic skills Previous industry experience is considered beneficial, but not essential To be considered for employment, your most recent unofficial transcript(s) must be submitted with your application Preferred Qualifications/ Experience Commitment to safety on and off the job Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required for the role Highly motivated, enthusiastic, results-oriented individuals who are energized by working with people and by achieving superior results A valid driver’s license is a requirement Start date:May, 2026 Location: Edmonton, AB Your benefits A company committed to career growth - we recruit those who are interested in a career with Imperial and prefer to develop and promote people from within.
