This isn’t just a job, it’s a chance to lead innovation, engineer impact, and build a legacy of excellence.In the role of Structural Designer, we'll count on you to:  Conduct analyses to develop design options or recommendations and assist in the preparation of cost estimates and specifications for structural engineering projectsPerform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and proceduresWork independently on small projects or assist more senior engineers on larger projectsGive direction to clerical and technical personnel as neededPerform other duties as neededPreferred Qualifications Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering.Experience with Mass Timber design tools is a plus.Experience and/or interest in sustainable, low-embodied-carbon design desired.Other Job DetailsFurther, the position requires:Compliance with HDR and, as applicable, contractor safety policies and proceduresPotential attendance at job sites to support design and construction activitiesRequired Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, RISA, Staad, SAP, Tedds, RAM, ETABS, SAFE or similarAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must What We BelieveHDR is our company.
