Food Service Worker Reports to: Manager (or designate) Interior Health is seeking a Food Service Worker to join our Support Services Team at Lillooet Hospital and Health Centre, BC. What We Offer We offer a range of employee benefits and services for eligible positions, to support you at every stage of your career: • Employee & Family Assistance Program • Employer paid training/education opportunities • Generous Vacation Entitlement • Employer Paid Health Benefits • Municipal Pension Plan • Shift Premiums • Competitive wages About the Job Food Service Worker: • Portioning and serving meals and beverages within a dining room and/or cafeteria operation. • Counts, weighs and/or measures ingredients for assigned food preparation area. • Washing and peeling vegetables and fruit. • Assembles beverages and food items - tea, coffee, sandwiches, salads, bag lunches, items for Meals on Wheels program. • Setting up and delivering meal carts. • Cleaning of food service areas. This is a Casual opportunity. Casual Employees are not guaranteed hours of work and can range from 0-37.5 hours per week on an as-needed basis. Shifts of work will be rotating days from 15:00 to 19:00, 10:00 to 14:00 hours.
