You’ll grow your technical skills, collaborate with experienced professionals, and help shape the future of energy.Shift Schedule:Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PMAfternoon Shift: Monday to Thursday, 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM(Alternating every two weeks)How You’ll Make an ImpactComplete documentation for HSE, Quality, and OperationsInspect and disassemble transformer unitsReassemble active parts using technical drawings and reference imagesPerform mechanical and electrical connections (e.g., brazing, crimping, bolting)Prepare components for dry-out and manage oven operationsConduct final inspections and re-tank unitsAssemble units for Final Test and shipmentOperate cranes and forklifts to move components safelyEnsure all work meets industry standards for transformer repairPerform other related duties as assignedResponsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelinesYour BackgroundCollege certificate in a technical program or Grade 12 diplomaMinimum 5 years of experience in transformer repair or industrial electrical equipmentStrong knowledge of transformer components, insulation systems, and winding techniquesValid certification or proven experience in crane and forklift operationExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to troubleshoot and resolve issues independentlyCandidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in CanadaMore About UsWe pride ourselves on offering a holistic range of competitive benefits to support your financial, physical, and mental wellbeing and personal development.
