PRIMARY DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES · Provide holistic personal, emotional and psychosocial care to residents · Provide personal hygiene, oral care, skincare, toileting, bathing, feeding, dressing, and grooming · Use a variety of specialized equipment such as electric beds, mechanical lifts, tubs, and wheelchairs · Actively participate in facility meetings and education programs. About: Braddan Private Hospital is located in Vancouver’s ocean-side community of Kitsilano. It is a wonderful recently renovated home boasting beautiful views of the mountains and ocean through large windows. Beyond great care, residents can also take advantage of convenient access to local shops, restaurants and parks. Braddan Private Hospital works in collaboration with the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority to offer funded beds but also has private pay rooms available.· Assist in admission, discharge, and transfer of residents.· Be fluent in verbal, written, and electronic communication in English · Ensure highest resident safety and well-being · Monitor, report, and document changes in resident’s health status Qualifications: Graduate from an approved Care Aide, RCA, Nursing assistant, or PSW program Registered and in good standing with the BC Care Aide Registry Must have a valid Canadian work permit Current First Aid, WHMIS, and Food Safe Certificates.
