JOB SUMMARYStationary Engineers operate and maintain control systems, boilers, compressors and other equipment utilized to provide heat, steam, ventilation, and refrigeration for our facility.ABOUT THE POSITIONMonitor and inspect plant equipment, switches, valves, gauges, alarms, meters and other instruments to measure temperature, pressure and fuel flow, to detect leaks or other equipment malfunctions and to ensure plant equipment is operating normally.Analyze and record instrument readings and equipment malfunctions.Complete Preventative, predictive maintenance tasks as per the company’s extensive PMProgramme.Able to troubleshoot and solve various mechanical issues as they arise.Performs assigned duties and advises Senior Stationary Engineer of any production or quality issues as they arise.Able to follow regular daily routines.Also able to work without direct supervision.Adhere to GMP and all other Food Safety Practices as established by Erie Meat Products to ensure safe quality products are manufactured. Follow Health and Safety Guidelines as established by Erie Meat Products to maintain a safe work environment.REQUIREMENTS / CERTIFICATIONSThird Class Stationary Engineer Certificate.Ability to continue Certification process and achieve 2nd Stationary Engineer Certificate.COMPENSATIONHours:Continental Shift (24/7 coverage)Pay Rate:TBDKEY SKILLS / WORKING CONDITIONSReliable attendance and PunctualityProven mechanical aptitudeAble to work independentlyPositive attitudeJudgementSelf-motivatedInitiativeHigh attention to detailConscientiousMust have reliable transportationHOW TO APPLYPlease apply directly to this posting with the most recent version of your resume. ABOUT ERIE MEATSHere at Erie Meat Products Ltd, we are dedicated to providing families with “feel good food”.
