In this role, you will support the delivery of high-quality water and wastewater treatment projects, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to help meet client expectations, project objectives, and organizational standards. You will also contribute to promoting our strong safety culture and commitment to caring for one another.This position offers the flexibility of our hybrid work model, including flexible hours, working from home, work either in our Mississauga or Kitchener offices.Responsibilities:Supporting the project management and delivery of preliminary and detailed designs for municipal water and wastewater treatment projectsAssisting in planning, organizing, and coordinating work with technical teams to meet scope, schedule, budget, quality, health and safety, and risk management requirementsMonitoring and reporting on project progress, risks, and performance metricsAssisting with timely preparation of invoices and supporting project financial trackingProviding technical guidance to junior staff and contributing to a collaborative project team environmentMaintaining clear and proactive communication with clients and internal stakeholdersSupporting business development activities, including preparing technical components for proposals and project pursuitsQualificationsB.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering from an accredited university8 years of relevant technical and project experience within consulting, specifically in municipal water/wastewater systems (distribution, conveyance, treatment plants, pumping stations, etc.)Eligible for or registered as a Professional Engineer in Ontario and/or other provincesStrong technical background in water and wastewater systems, with experience across various project phases (conceptual design, pre-design, detailed design, and construction administration)Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with experience in client coordinationCommitment to delivering innovative, practical, and technically sound solutionsStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage tasks efficiently while meeting project deadlinesAt CIMA+, we value diversity of talent and perspective.
