This role is critical to ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our production operations through proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives. At Cascades you can develop your full potential, sustainably, by applying your expertise as the E&I Maintenance Supervisor with our Mississauga Packaging team  RESPONSIBILITIESEnsure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.Supervise and coordinate the activities of electricians and instrumentation technicians.Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical and instrumentation systems.Troubleshoot and resolve issues with PLCs, drives, sensors, and control systems to minimize downtime.Ensure compliance with Ontario Electrical Code, CSA standards, and company safety policies.Maintain accurate records in SAP for work orders, parts, and maintenance history.Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support operational goals.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and reduce costs.Plan for and schedule PM’s, outages while navigating operations and engineering directives. Collaborate with Engineering and operations teams to plan and implement equipment modifications and upgrades.    Plan, recommend and coordinate corrective actions and process improvements.Support teams in problem solving. Bring out the best in yourself. Every day, our colleagues choose to respect their true nature by contributing with passion to our mission. RELEVANT EXPERIENCE & STRENGTHSStrong commitment to safe work behaviors and safety compliance.Proven experience as a technical leader with the ability to solve problems, make decisions and lead a team in a fast-paced industrial setting.Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution and instrumentation.Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting (Allen Bradley, Siemens) and VFDs.Ability to read electrical schematics and P&IDs.Knowledge of Lean continuous improvement principles is an asset.Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.Collaborative spirit that inspires and engages teams to achieve excellence.Agility necessary to work with various technology tools. REQUIREMENTSAssociates or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Technology or related field.  Relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. 5+ years of industrial electrical and instrumentation maintenance experience.  Minimum 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role.Strong computer proficiency, including advanced knowledge of MS365.Knowledge of PowerBI and SAP is highly desirable. We look forward to meeting you   About CascadesCascades believes in the success of an inclusive organization that values diversity within its team.
