Your contributions will directly support our 50-year track record of delivering innovative, science-driven solutions.What Your Impact IsIn this role, you will:Conduct fisheries, aquatic biology, and water quality field programs across freshwater environments in Canada.Ensure high-quality field results through rigorous QA/QC practices.Support environmental assessments and permitting for large-scale capital projects.Collaborate closely with Indigenous field support staff, contributing to community-driven and inclusive project execution.Become a key member of a growing fisheries and biodiversity team delivering work within Canada and globally.Compile, organize, and manage data, photos, and laboratory results that inform technical recommendations and client strategies.Prepare summaries, SOPs, and monitoring reports that advance decision-making and project progress.What You'll BringRequiredBachelor's in Fisheries Biology or a related discipline. Or equivalent experience.Field experience in:Fish and fish habitat assessmentsFish sampling on lakes and riversWater quality samplingAquatic biologyKnowledge of Federal, Provincial, and Territorial regulations relevant to the mining and oil & gas sectors.Strong written and oral communication skills.Proven data management and QA/QC capabilities.Strong commitment to safety and following established Health & Safety procedures.Ability to work in fast-paced environments, multitask, adapt, and operate independently with minimal supervision.Excellent problem-solving abilities.A positive, collaborative approach; self-starter attitude; and motivation driven by ERM’s global mission.Willingness and ability to travel.Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area. Actual pay will depend on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs. In some cases, pay may fall outside this range.
