Job DescriptionDeliver exceptional cocktail craftsmanship paired with informed wine and beer service to create a memorable and engaging bar experienceCreate a positive guest experience through genuine interaction and consistent adherence to established O&B steps of serviceDemonstrate thorough knowledge of all food and beverage offerings in order to make informed recommendationsAccurately receive drink order chits and prepare all beverages in accordance with Oliver & Bonacini standardsPresent beverages in a clear, organized, and timely manner at the service bar pickup areaCommunicate beverage descriptions, features, and specials to both guests and team membersSet up and break down the bar area, including the dishwasher and cappuccino machine, ensuring cleanliness and proper operationStock, organize, and maintain all bar products, mise en place, and service toolsMonitor and maintain beer keg levels and liquor inventory throughout serviceAssist with counting, inventorying, and ordering of beverages and bar supplies in collaboration with managementRemain attentive to special requests, including guest allergies and dietary considerationsPerform additional duties as assigned to support overall bar and restaurant operationsQualificationsLegally eligible to work in CanadaValid Smart Serve Certified Minimum of 1 year of bartending experience in a comparable service environmentStrong knowledge of wine, beer, and cocktail preparation, with a focus on quality and consistencyGenuine passion for food, beverage, and delivering exceptional guest serviceProven ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environmentExcellent oral and written communication skillsFlexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededAbility to remain standing for extended periods and safely lift and move beer kegs, liquor, and wine boxesReliable transportation to and from the workplaceAdditional Information** We thank all applicants for their interest in Oliver & Bonacini Restaurants; however, only suitable candidates will be contacted to continue the application process. **AI Disclosure To ensure a fair and efficient recruitment process, some aspects of candidate screening may be conducted using AI software.
