Scope of Position: Reporting to the People and Culture Manager, the People and Culture Coordinator is a human resources professional committed to service delivery excellence and is responsible for full-cycle recruitment, deployment, ongoing employee experience and administrative functions, including employee file management and enterprise resource system entries for Concord Parking staff nationally. The People and Culture Coordinator works on site and provides support to teams through training, development, and organizational culture initiatives and adheres to HR best practices and company policies. Responsibilities and Deliverables:Function as the HR lead for all recruitment. Provide high-quality HR advice and service to the operations team on a regular basis with respect to employee relations and performance management issues.Ensure that external job postings are up to date and reflect current staffing needs. Organize company participation in various recruitment events, internally and externally. Prepare presentations and gather all pertinent paperwork and supplies needed for each event.Screen resumes and determine which candidates will continue to the interview stage. Complete phone interviews for successful candidates.Communicate with applicants and Concord Parking employees for day-to-day inquiries, ensuring proper resolution for all matters. Analyze and track employee concerns to address issues and identify trends; escalate accordingly to the manager. Document information regarding all candidates in our internal applicant tracking system.Complete interviews with candidates who have successfully completed the application process and preliminary screening. Use sound judgment to determine candidate suitability for second interviews and/or onboarding.Send electronic hiring paperwork to new employees and assist with processing as needed. Collect scans of necessary identification and certificates.Conduct reference checks, employment verifications, and background checks. Escalate negative findings accordingly.Enter and track required certifications, clearances, work statuses and expiries via WinTeam compliances. Coordinate re-certifications for all current employees as needed. Complete audits as needed.Manage internal employee time off requests in project management software, process, collect and write standardized letters for employees as required, updating files and ERP. Complete exit interviews for all employees who have left the company. Track results and report on any trends for retention purposes. Assist the team in human resource management-related matters and inquiries regarding our front-line staff to ensure best practices and company policies are followed.Assist with the company and the Paladin Group of Companies' P&C initiatives and projects.Required Qualifications and Competencies:Minimum of 1-year experience in a full-cycle recruiting position; further experience in Human Resources roles would be considered an asset.Minimum 1-year post-secondary, certificate or diploma in relevant discipline. Completion, or working towards a diploma or degree in Human Resources, CPHR designation or candidate, or equivalent, would be an asset. Working knowledge of appropriate legislation and employment standards for multiple provinces.Excellent Communication, customer service and superior attention to detail.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment.High discretion and confidentiality.Strong computer skills, with proficiency in MS Office applications and platform-based software.
