Position SummaryNorthern Health is looking for an experienced, highly efficient, and self-directed Clerk to support the Long-Term Care department.In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, the Staffing Reception Clerk provides administrative and staffing support to ensure efficient operations. the Staffing Reception Clerk is responsible for managing reception services, scheduling appointments, coordinating relief staff, processing staffing documentation and involves preparing reports, maintaining filing systems, managing supplies, and handling billing and financial transactions in compliance with established policies.Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday to Friday, Days, 07:00 to 13:30 The Pines is a one-level facility with two main resident wings centered around common activity, lounge and dining areas. The Pines provides Recreational Therapy Services on a daily basis. Pastoral and Spiritual Services are provided by local clergy and other spiritual care resources. There is a Volunteer Program in place to accompany Residents on social outings, appointments, and assist with feeding. Hairdressing and barber services are available on site for a fee determined by the service provider. The Pines also provides an on-site integrated community adult day program, operating 3 days per week. Burns Lake is located in the heart of the Lakes District, an area boasting over 4800 kilometers of lake shoreline. The village has a diverse population of 2,000 residents and serves a surrounding area of approximately 13,000 residents of the Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako. With two of the six local First Nations communities located within municipal boundaries, Burns Lake has a strong sense of culture and incredible local talents to showcase. Housing in Burns Lake is very affordable, including lakefront property There are two K-7 schools, a K-9, a 8-12 and a 10-12 public school within the Lakes District Area. Additionally, there are two Independent Mennonite schools and one College of New Caledonia campus within the community.
