Facility and Work Location - Calgary and Calgary Posting Locations - CalgaryJob Function - Maintenance Employee Type -  Regular Employee FT  Hourly Shift/Hours - Hourly Rate / Salary Range - As neededInitial Posting Close Date - As neededAbout This OpportunityThe ASRS Electrician will own the entire process related to the operation and maintenance of the ASRS (Automated Storage & Retrieval System) equipment including, but not limited to (racking, cranes, elevators, SVL’s, and all conveying systems). The ASRS Electrician will also be responsible addressing any upset conditions, such as stuck or tipped pallets in the racking or on associated equipment as well as general housekeeping of the area and Autonomous Maintenance (AM) tasks as assigned.ResponsibilitiesOperation and maintenance of the ASRS and associated equipment.Troubleshoot electrical equipment related to the ASRS.Work with Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) & programming software, and their interaction with electrical components. Collaborating closely with millwrights on mechanical tasks and providing assistance as needed for various mechanical jobs.Perform documented regular preventative maintenance inspections on all electrical equipment. Participate in scheduled parts counts.Maintain housekeeping of the ASRS area to GMP standards.Identify and report identified hazards and fulfill all Health & Safety, WHMIS, Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS), and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) policy requirements. Work with others cooperatively, safely and in a structured and team environment. Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsJourneymen Red Seal Electrician required.A minimum of 5 years' experience as an Electrician is required.Ability to read, interpret and update Electrical and Mechanical drawings / schematics is required. Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques and procedures to maximize the reliability of the equipment.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Must have the ability to work rotating shifts (12hr shifts rotating nights and days) and overtime when required to support a continuous operation.Demonstrated ability to listen and follow instruction, with excellent attention to detail, while being adaptable to changes in a fast-paced environment.Electrical equipment knowledge - computer hardware and software, including applications and programming (PC and PLC logic controllers), Proficient in utilizing a variety of computer software and applications.Note: Candidates must also successfully complete a skills assessment test.About Us: Proudly Canadian and Independently Owned, We are Coke Canada Coca-Cola Canada Bottling Limited is Canada’s premier bottling company.
