Senior Financial Data Analyst at TS Imagine Montreal About the job   A Senior Financial Data Analyst leverages and manages data that is consumed by the world’s most elite financial institutions by applying structured thinking and leveraging technology. The scope ranges across the full data lifecycle, from acquisition, normalization, consolidation, validation, remediation, preparation and distribution of data about instruments, legal entities, corporate actions, prices, quantitative data structures (curves, volatility surfaces, correlation matrixes, etc.) and common reference data such as calendars, countries, etc.  Who will love this job   A proud advocate – you enjoy scrubbing and automating compelling data that engages all parts of the business. You are the voice of our customers.  A teacher and learner – you like investigating and troubleshooting data related issues across all dimensions of data quality  A helper – you relish acting as the front-line support resource, handling client requests related to TS Imagine's data offering  A trusted subject matter specialist – you own contributing to the constant evolution of our data management maturity and data management capabilities in metadata management, data quality management and data governance  An excellent teammate – you appreciate the daily operations of a global, highly distributed team that delivers mission critical data services  What you’ll do   Manage data about financial products, corporate actions, prices, legal entities, valuation data structures and common reference data that is consumed by 500+ clients of TS Imagine around the world  Ensure and enhance the integrity of our mission-critical data offering  Learn finance from the data up  Make and implement recommendations to prevent reoccurring issues and automate manual processes  Design solutions to improve data quality and the level of automation  Act as a stakeholder for all data management capabilities, from sourcing to consumption  You should have   A minimum of 4 years of experience in the management of financial instrument data and corporate actions data  Robust knowledge of financial instruments  Experience in trading, portfolio management, risk management or margin management  Knowledge of data vendors for financial instrument data, such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv, ICE or FactSet Familiarity with the terms and conditions of instruments in fixed income, commodities, FX, crypto, equity and their derivatives  Basic SQL, Python and JavaScript  Why TS Imagine / Benefits Currently hybrid home-office (at least 3 days in the office) 25 Vacation days and 3 Personal days  Annual bonus and salary review Training budget $1,500 RRSP with 3% company matching Health insurance Subvention for public transportation Opus & CIE *** Only Montreal applicants will be considered - job not remote About TS Imagine  Created out of the combination of two best-in-class SaaS platforms, TradingScreen and Imagine Software, TS Imagine delivers integrated trading, portfolio and real-time risk solutions for capital markets.
