You like helping others choose products that work best for their health and lifestyle, and you are eager to learn and try new products so you are confident in the information you are sharing This role is a leader in our grocery team and helps inspire and motivate others in the team PERKS:Wage: $22.00 - 23.25/hr experience dependentFlexible benefits Up to 25% store discountEducation allowance Free swag (products, food, clothing + more)Share in some laughs, air high-fives, and fun each dayWHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:Walk the walk and talk the talk Working with the Grocery Manager, you will help lead the grocery team by example, providing exceptional customer service and building a positive team environment.Set the team up for success for the day by prioritizing daily tasks needing to be completed and providing direction to team members when neededGive a warm “hello” to our customers as they enter the department – we like building connections with our new and regular customers and sharing a laugh along the way.Assist with giving direction during shift and be a go-to for team members questions, training, and grocery expertiseAssist customers with questions they may have about products we and give suggestions based on their needs (don’t worry, we will train you on this)If there is a question or concern that a team member is not quite sure on how to answer with a customer, you will jump in and share your knowledgeUse your creativity and eye for detail to make attractive and organized displays.Learn about new products and featured products that are on sale through Nature’s Fare’s flyers and magazines.In other words, you will help others, be a leader within the team, share your knowledge on our amazing products, be safe, be a great team player and have funWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:Experience in grocery and/or retail environment is preferred but not needed Experience leading a team of amazing peopleExperience in a customer service role is neededA passion for local, organic, and sustainable food and natural supplementsExceptional interpersonal and communication skillsStrong work ethic and desire to contribute to people’s health and wellbeingAbility to work in an energetic, fast-paced environmentLike to have funPut your passion into work that matters with a growing, BC-based company committed to be a better company for our customers, our employees, and the planet.
