MP Lundy Construction, a 50+ year old construction management company in Ottawa, is looking for a dynamic and energetic Assistant Project Manager to join their team. Reporting to the VP of Construction, and working closely with our Project Managers, the APM's responsibilities will include: Preparation, distribution, and control of project documentation Review specifications for submittal requirements Obtain the proper bonding and insurance as required by projects Manage all finance-related paperwork associated with a project Prepare monthly billings to clients Review and approval of shop drawing Coordination of SI/CCN/CD between trades Keep drawing markups current Attending project meetings as required Preparation of operation and maintenance manuals Assist the Estimating department in the closing of tenders Key Qualifications: Post-secondary education focusing on the construction industry 3 to 5 years of related experience Proficient in Microsoft applications (i.e. Excel and Word) Highly organized Strong communicator including strong reading/writing skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to set priorities to enable successful performance Strong attention to detail with the ability to problem solve and provide recommendations Ability to meet deadlines Experience with Procore would be considered an asset MP Lundy Construction offers a positive and healthy company culture where you can grow professionally, competitive salary, comprehensive health benefits, matching RRSP program, and bonus opportunities.
