They will also be responsible for communicating to staff when patient support arrives. Health Support Aides will also direct patients to appropriate waiting areas as directed by licensed staff. About YouWe would love to hear from you if you have the following: Grade 12Any previous related experience or related education would be an assetKnowledge of infection control procedures an assetCurrent BCLS Non-violent Crisis Intervention preferredRelevant first aid, first responder training i.e. St. John Ambulance course, HS lifeguard certificate, an assetExcellent interpersonal skills to deal with patients/clients, hospital staff, public and referral sourcesCompetencies in other languages an asset, French preferred Please ensure your resume is up to date and includes all relevant education, experience, training, and certifications.
