Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Enterprise-wide supply chain management, including planning, inventory management, procurement, customer order management, logistics, DC operations, and distribution.
  • Driving continuous improvement in supply chain operations to enhance cost efficiency, cycle time, and customer service.
  • Building and maintaining strong vendor/supplier partnerships, ensuring flawless execution and continuous improvement. The candidate will liaise with leadership and operational teams of Vendors/Suppliers and CMOs.
  • Overseeing the development and implementation of procedures to ensure effective, efficient, and compliant operations, including Supply Chain, DC Operations, and Customer Service.
  • Developing a deep understanding of business growth objectives, unique operational needs, and proactively recommending strategies to drive success.
  • Leading and maintaining high-performing internal supply chain operations teams, conducting regular performance assessments, and providing mentorship for professional growth.
  • Reviewing operational reports, KPIs, and key result areas to ensure alignment with company standards.
  • Collaborating with Quality Assurance, Regulatory, and Business Development Teams to maintain seamless inventory flow and efficient new product launches.
  • Providing strong support to the sales team for customer requests and RFPs, acting as the point of contact for costing and profitability analysis to support business growth.
  • Managing inbound and outbound freight costs, driving inventory optimization, and increasing efficiency through improved inventory turnover, reduced obsolescence, and enhanced service level standards (OFR, OTIF, LIFR) for a superior customer experience.


Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience in supply chain , logistics, procurement, or distribution operations. 1-2 years Minimum
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of driving operational efficiency.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and ability to build lasting vendor/supplier relationships.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience in team development and performance management.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and quality standards within supply chain operations.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid model (Mississauga-based role).
