COMMERCIAL ROOF SNOW REMOVAL SHOVEL POSITION TASKS  Snow Removal: Remove accumulated snow from commercial roofs using snow shovels, snow blowers or other specializedequipment. Preliminary inspection: Assess roof conditions prior to snow removalto identify critical areas and hazards. Preparation: Make sure you have the necessary equipment, includingsafety tools such as harnesses and non-slip devices. Coordination: Work in collaboration with other members of theteam to ensure efficient and safe snow removal. Compliance with safety standards: Follow strictly followsafety procedures to avoid accidents, such as wearing personalprotective equipment (PPE) and putting in place safety devices. Use of specialized equipment : Master the use of varioussnow removal equipment, such as special shovels,snow blowers, scrapers, etc. Tool maintenance: Ensure that tools and equipment are ingood working order and make necessary repairs ifnecessary. Communication: Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors and other parties involved to ensure optimalcoordination. Time management: Plan and organize work to meetdeadlines and minimize interruptions. SKILLS  Physical Strength: Ability to perform demanding physical work,including lifting and moving snow. Tool Proficiency: Skill in using various toolssnow removal, including motorized equipment. Knowledge of safety standards: Thorough understanding ofsafety protocols for working at height and in harsh weather conditions.  Responsiveness: Ability to respond quickly to changing weather conditions and potential emergencies. Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with other team members to achieve common goals. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changes in plans andunforeseen events during snow removal. Communication: Good communication skills to ensurecoordination effective with other team members. Safety training: Ideally, have completed safety trainingrelated to working at height, snow removal and use specializedequipment. SALARY $20/HSCHEDULE: DAY 40 HOURS WEEKLOCATION: QUEBECSTART: JANUARY 30, 2024
