We are looking for students who have strong critical thinking, writing, and interpersonal skills to join one of our team in Valcartier.Due to the requirements related to the security clearance, candidates must demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of permanent residence in Canada.Sought-after disciplines:Studies in biology, environmental science, environmental engineering, or a related field.DCC is a dynamic and fast-paced Crown corporation. Successful candidates will gain office and field experience in environment and /or project management work, and may support in the following tasks: Contribute to the coordination and monitoring of environmental work related to various projects to ensure compliance with legal requirementsProvide technical support on environmental matters for contract planning and managementPrepare environmental reports that meet the requirements of client partnersParticipate in updating and verifying environmental data in tables and tracking systemsCoordinate the exchange of environmental information related to projects and programsConduct research, compile data, and contribute to the drafting of technical documentsSupport the team in meeting quality standards and deadlinesFind out more about working at DCC: What We Are Looking ForGood judgement, positive attitude and flexible natureKnowledge of computer software programs (Office suite) and how to use themStrong critical thinking, writing and interpersonal skills, with an attention to detailThe ability to work independentlyWho We Are Looking ForYou meet the minimum age requirement to work in Quebec You are currently enrolled in a college or university program in biology, environmental science, environmental engineering, or a related field at a recognized educational institutionA valid drivers license and access to a vehicle is preferredYou are eligible to work in Canada**The remuneration for post-secondary students will align with the pay rates established by the Government of Canada’s Treasury Board guidelines. Compensation will be determined by the student's academic level and experience.
