The RoleThe Control Panel Assembler will spend their time reading and interpreting drawings and schematics. Using basic and specific hand tools throughout the shift to complete the building tasks at hand. Building panels from start to finish with minimal supervision including some metal work, drilling, cutting, and filing of enclosures and backplates. Wiring panel and installing all components to complete the panel to be sent off to the QA and testing department.NOTE: 2nd Shift Work Schedule, Monday to Friday What You Will Do Work in a safe manner that does not place themselves or others at risk of injury.Keeping track of work tools and materials need to complete build.Keep workstations fully stocked with materials to maintain flow and production pace.React and take immediate actions in case of changes in priority.Quickly escalate any issues that could negatively affect productivity. Knowledge and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalentExperience in reading and interpreting electrical drawing and schematics1-5 years' experience working in an electrical assembly environmentKnowledge of the parts and materials used in electrical control panelsAble to lift 50 lbs.Ability to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent communication skills, verbal and writtenStrong ability to organize and prioritize workloadGood knowledge of standard manufacturing processesAble to use Microsoft Windows such as Outlook, Word and Excel
