We specialize in placing short-term and seasonal employees, allowing you control over your schedule and a chance to explore a multitude of projects.  We're seeking skilled Carpenters (Journeyman & Apprentices) to join our roster.  Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials is required. Preference will be given to those with experience in installing & dismantling modular camp / structures. These positions will require you to be available for remote project work for multiple weeks. Successful candidates must be willing to travel and work across Western Canada. Job Description and Responsibilities: Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and constructionProficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)Competence in safely lifting, carrying, and moving construction materials, tools, and equipmentAbility to read technical documents and drawingsAbility to take direction and follow instructions to support a safe work environmentProficiency in basic math for calculating material needs, costs, and measurementsAbility to work meticulously and pay close attention to detail to achieve high-quality work and ensure client satisfactionPhysical stamina with the capability of performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials, standing for long periods, and working in various positionsAbility to work outdoor in all weather conditionsValid Class 5 Driver's License with reliable transportation is an asset Required Tool List: Tool PouchHammerTape MeasurePencilsSquareNail PickChalk LineKnifeTin SnipsPliersChiselCordless Drill or Impact Certifications Preferred: Journeyperson Certification and/or Interprovincial Red Seal or Valid ApprenticeshipCSTS – Construction Safety Training SystemStandard First Aid & CPR – Level CFall ProtectionAerial Work PlatformDrug and alcohol testing and a criminal record check may be required We thank you for your interest in Sideworx Connect Inc. and if you think you would be a good fit for our team, we look forward to hearing from you.
