Job DescriptionJob Summary: Installers are responsible for installing and maintaining components of water treatment and distribution systems. Installers perform the final installation of assemblies to specifications, execute pickling & provide support to assembly when capacity allows. The responsibility extends to conducting quality checks, collaborating with the team, emphasizing safety adherence and ensuring documentation for optimal system performance.Job DutiesInstall water treatment and distribution systems inside chambers, based on blueprintsInspect assembled components for defects and irregularitiesAssist assembly team during low installation demandConduct quality checks to meet industry standards and regulationsIdentify and troubleshoot issues, making necessary repairs and replacementsPickling of all SS pipingProvide documentation for completed work and report deviationsCommunicate effectively to address challenges and find solutionsHandle and move materials, tools, and equipment safely in the workshopUtilize a forklift to safely transport materials during installationCollaborate with team members and contribute to a productive team environmentAdhere to safety protocols when working with heavy machinery and hazardous materialsPerform any other reasonable duties as requested by immediate supervisor or Profit Centre ManagerQualificationsGrade 12 diploma or equivalentExperience in waterworks or a related field, or basic understanding of plumbing and mechanical systems.Must be able to stand/walk 8 hours per dayAble to regularly lift 15lbs - occasionally up to 60lbsPossess a high level of attention to detailForklift experience an asset (certificate preferred, but not required)Good mechanical aptitude an assetAbility to operate machinery & power tools an asset (lathe, bandsaw, circular saw, drill press, etc.)Able to develop comprehensive product knowledgePossess a strong work ethic and a high standard of integrityStrong communication skills to maintain relationships with teammatesEnergetic, self-motivated and able to work independentlyAble to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprintsIntermediate math skills – add, subtract, multiply, divide, using whole numbers, fractions and decimalsRead, write, speak and understand EnglishAdditional InformationSalary Range - $48,000.00 to $55,000.00 + Profit Share
