Increases are then reviewed throughout employment. Working as part of a strong collaborative team at Advanced Bending, the Shipper/Receiver will assist in a variety of jobs to assist in production and shop upkeepand efficiency.Essential Functions for this Role are:Receive purchased products and verify against purchase order requirementsReceive customer-supplied products and verify against customer requirementsBoth directly and through delegation, load and unload trucks using forklifts and other lifting equipmentGenerate packing slips, calculate weights, determine dimensionsEnsure shipments are packaged according to customer requirementsIdentify incoming material with work order number and customers name as applicableOrganize and directing the movement of traffic and materials in the yardOrganize and directing the maintenance of cleanliness in the yard Communicate with office and shop staff via radioWork in accordance with the quality management systemComplete all applicable quality recordsWork in accordance with documented procedures and complete all applicable recordsExperience, Qualifications, and Skills required:Superior organization skills to keep stock locations organizedExcellent communication skillsAble to lift up to 50LbsAbility to be a team player and step in to support your team and department when neededHigh school education or GED equivalentComputer Skills an assetForklift Certification an assetOverhead Crane experienceKnowledgeable re shop proceduresMinimum 3-month Material HandlingQuality management system knowledge - Purchasing, receiving, shipping, inspection and testing, traceability, nonconformances, corrective and preventive action, document control, record control, purchasingThank you for your interest in Advanced Bending Technologies.
