Job Description The is seeking a team oriented psychiatrist to provide a generalized psychiatry service in Yorkton, Saskatchewan and area. The position provides opportunity to work in broad areas of psychiatry ranging from children and adolescents to a senior population. The psychiatrist will be part of the multidisciplinary team that includes nurses, social workers, and psychologists and addiction counselors. He or she will be expected to provide leadership for the team in a collegial approach and be ready to work with external bodies as required. In addition to regular clinic, the psychiatrist will provide in-patient service, emergency coverage on a rotational basis and travel to satellite clinics to provide services at least once a week. The position provides integrated mental health and addiction services including both inpatient and outpatient care. This position will remain open until filled and may be filled prior to the posted closing date. Relocation Package The successful candidate may be eligible for (depending on program requirements and eligibility): The Incentive which provides up to $200,000 over 5 years The , which provides $30,000 to an eligible specialist that establishes a practice for a minimum of thirty-six months in a Saskatchewan community.
