ResponsibilitiesOnce trained, work independently with minimal supervisionComplete material sampling and testing at a standard that will satisfy contract requirements and ensure proper quality control.Onsite document control.Test road construction materials, such as asphalt, concreate, pavement and aggregate.Ensure compliance with testing standards.Lab set-up and tear down.Qualifications/ Requirements High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferredMust have a valid Class 5 Drivers LicensePrior experience working within a paving or construction company is an assetWeather dependent schedule of Monday to Saturday, up to 12 hours per day and may consist of day and/or night shift. Overtime is paid in accordance with applicable employment standards.Work is performed in an outdoor setting, which could include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50LBS on a regular basis.Must comply with the company's drug and alcohol testing requirements.
