Technical Architect

Job Title: Technical Architect - Warehouse Management SystemsLocation: Virtual within the US or CanadaTravel is expected within the US at 50% - 75%Overview:Core responsibilities focus your efforts as the  technical lead for Blue Yonder Warehouse Management Solution implementations for customers across the Americas region.In this role, you will design best-in-class solutions using a suite of products in the Warehouse Management space, as well as being on the leading edge with our latest product innovations.You will be the technical liaison across of key stakeholders, including key customer contacts, Project Managers, Solution Architects, Technical/Business Consultants, and 3rd Party Consultants, to drive the timely and successful delivery of the final solution.What you’ll doDrive the design, optimization, and implementation of Blue Yonder Warehouse Management software solutions for customers, utilizing industry best practices and process methodologiesApply domain knowledge to fully understand and identify how the Blue Yonder solutions can be configured and delivered to best meet customer requirements/business processes, with regardingLead Technical and integration design to ensure clear construct and validation tasks and timelineLead integration design with automation vendorsConduct and/or guide system integration, user acceptance testing and deployment phases of the project to ensure a seamless transition to our steady state/support associatesSustain the balance between project scope, timeline, and requirements to ensure successful time to value and definitive customer satisfactionAssess business needs that fall outside the standard solution and/or scope, and assess integration complexity, architecture constraints and/or product roadmapsRecognize and highlight incremental revenue opportunities with existing customers/projectsIdentify product issues analyze root cause, provide workarounds and provide inputs to product team on problem areasCommunicate business cases to PMG and PD regarding customer specific needs related to product functionality and enhancementsWhat we are looking forIndustry and Product Experience:Minimum 5 years' experience working within Blue Yoder’s Warehouse Management Systems either as a customer of Blue Yonder or as a consultant implementing Blue Yonder solutions for customersExperience in end to end WMS deployment from Blue printing/design to transition to support for varied customers / industriesAdditionally relevant solutions consulting and implementation experience with other leading supply chain planning solutions such as HighJump, Manhattan or SAP is a plusCurrent or prior experience working in a management consulting organization or Supply Chain Center preferredExperience in integrating ERP/Host systems with Blue Yonder’s Warehouse Management SystemsExperience with using / Testing APIsExperience in working with Native SaaS WMS solutionsSkills:Strong technical analysis skills, Technical design, Integration with HOST/ERP systems , Integration with Automation systems, awareness of tactical planning on overall supply chain requiredAbility to prepare and deliver presentations for user, management, and executive level audiences. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills requiredAbility to plan technical activities of WMS deployment, Track issues through RAID log and provide tasks to junior resourcesExperience with Relational databases (SQL Server/Oracle), SQL, Understanding Native SaaS solutions deployed on Azure, Python, JAVA /J2EE, MOCARESTful Web Services, API, JSON and testing APIs with PostmanEducation:Advanced degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain, Information Systems or equivalent degreeBachelor’s degree and relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of advanced degreeSynonymous Job Title: Technical Architect*LI-AD1#LI-remote-------------------------------------------The annual salary range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000 USDThe salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors.
